In the early hours of February 8th, mom was called ‘home’ to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Mom was predeceased by her husband Henk (1982), her daughter Wilma, son-in-law John Boon, and grandson Loren (1998), and her great-grandson Matthew (2013).

Mourning her loss are sons Hank (Carol), Terry (Alice), Tony (Deb), Graham (Ella) and Frank (Alice), 21 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren.

Grace was born in Bolsward, Freisland to Titus and Uilkje van Wieren. She was the third of 6 children.

We are grateful for the community of friends mom had at West End church and, particularly, at Summit Village.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, February 12th at West End Christian Reformed Church, 10015-149 Street, Edmonton, at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be in the church from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m., and Interment at 11:00 a.m. at West Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Edmonton University Hospital Foundation. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of 5D3 at the University Hospital for their outstanding care and demonstrations of love and support.
