of Edmonton
May 18, 1923 - Aug 12, 2013

On August 12, 2013, Isabel Peters of Edmonton passed away at the age of 90. She is survived by her son Doug (Diane), grandson Darcy (Daphnée), granddaughter Nuala, brother Jack Lynn (Charleen), sister-in-law Grace Lynn. Isabel will be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews, the Olasons, the Willistons, the Parsons, and many close friends.

Isabel was predeceased by her husband Allan and brothers James and Stuart Lynn.

Isabel grew up in Edmonton, attending H. A. Gray, Eastwood, and Victoria schools. Upon finishing her education she worked at the Metropolitan Store and, since she was unable to join the war effort in 1939, worked at Aircraft Repair Ltd. until 1944. She then worked at City Hall, left to raise a family, and returned as a telephone operator with EdTel until retirement in 1982.

The family wishes to thank Capital Care Dickinsfield for their outstanding dedication and care over the past couple of months; sincere thanks is also extended to Unit 53 staff of Grey Nuns Community Hospital.
