On Monday, August 5, 2013, Dorothy Marion MacDonald passed away peacefully at the Norwood Care Center, following a lengthy illness.

Left to cherish her memory three children, Merle Jr. MacDonald, Belinda (Gordon) Schroder and Mark MacDonald; three grandchildren, Ashley (Peter) Eckert, Joshua Schroder, and Lawrence MacDonald; three great-grandchildren, Bailey, Jackson and Sydney as well as extended family and many dear friends.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Merle; youngest son Douglas Michael as well as her parents and one sister. A Graveside Service will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Beechmount Cemetery, 12420-104 Street, Edmonton, AB. She will be interred with her son Douglas and husband Merle.
