Audrey Gilley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the age 88 years.,

She will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter, Nancy Dion (Mike), her son, Jim Gilley (Natalie), and two grandchildren, Paige and Lindsay. Audrey\'s husband, Roy Eldon Gilley, passed away on August 5, 1988 and her first son, Ronald, died at the age of 9. Audrey will also be dearly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Born in Johnsburg, Wisconsin, Audrey immigrated to Canada at a young age. With her parents Frank and Utha Kneeshaw and her sister Margaret and brother Frank, the family lived in many small towns in Saskatchewan during her father\'s employment with the Canadian Pacific Railway. Audrey moved to Edmonton where she met and married Roy while working with Roy\'s mother, Henrietta Gilley. They raised their family, made many friends, and remained in the Edmonton area.

A celebration of Audrey\'s life will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.

Those who so desire may make donations in the memory of Audrey to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
