In Loving Memory of

Clarice (Casey) Marjory Whalen

(Maiden: Enger)
of Edmonton
Mar 24, 1933 - Nov 17, 2012

It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my Mum, Clarice Whalen,79, on November 17, 2012.

She will be missed by her daughter Sherry Whalen (Christopher Toth), her sister Gloria Riopel, brother Marvin Enger (Linda McLean), brother-in-law George Biltek, and much loved nieces, nephews and family members, cherished friends and neighbors.

Casey was predeceased by her husband Clarence, parents Lily and Magnus, sister Lorraine Biltek and brother Willard Enger.

Ever young Casey loved curling at the Thistle Curling Club, golfing at Riverside & Rundle Golf Courses, and swimming in lakes, pools and oceans.

There will be no funeral at her request. Thanks to Reverend John Burrill, Highlands United Church for his support. In memory to Clarice donations may be made to the Highlands United Church, 11305-64 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5W 4H6, as they need to pay off the cost of the new roof.

Miss Me - But Let Me Go!

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared,
Miss me - but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the Master’s plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss Me – But Let me Go!
