Our family sadly announces the peaceful passing of Jean Rip. She will be dearly missed by all of us and is now with the Lord. She leaves behind a loving husband Cees, two children, Marian (Rupert), and Ken (Vicki); four grandchildren, Brendon, Kaley (Kyle), Nicole (Dan), and Natasha (Dan); two great grandchildren, Logan and Madox; five younger siblings, Henny (Walter), Jerry (Audrey), Audrey (Wally), Arie , Thea (Wilf), and Casey (Eleanor). Also to cherish her memory are five in laws in Holland, numerous relatives and friends. She was predeceased by mother Dina, father Arie, sister Miep (Dick), and brother Gerrit, and sister in law Wilma. The interment will take place at Little Mountain Cemetery, 16025-54 Street, Edmonton, on Monday, August 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. The Memorial Service will follow the interment at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 11905-47 Street at 2:00 p.m. A viewing will be held at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton, on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. In Jean’s honor, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
