Joseph Roland Aristide Bourgeois was fondly known as \'Rol, Dad or Lol\'. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Roland’s Life will be held on September 2, 2012.

Roland is survived by his five daughters: Lorraine Mousseau, Bunny Bourgeois, Denise MacIver (Neil), Michèle Bourgeois (Bruce Macdonald), Monique Bourgeois (Tim McGeer); his fourteen grandchildren: Denise Devicq Barker (Philip), Paula Devicq, (and their father Denis Devicq); Dale Gauthier, Jacqueline Kentel (Steve), Danièle Bettio (Paul), Nicole Gauthier; Lena, Keir and Cole MacIver; Kyla, Calen and Claire Macdonald; Kiah and Ava McGeer; his eight great-grandchildren: Matthew and Kate Barker, Jensen, Eli, Kai and Carter Kentel, and Jacob and Sadie Bettio; his sister Lillie Veness, his sisters-in-law Georgette, Jeanne, Thérèse, Cecile, Irene, Carolyn Bourgeois,Thérèse Gareau and Claire (Rémi) Rouleau,and many loving nieces and nephews.

Roland was pre-deceased by his loving wife Bertha Dandurand Bourgeois, parents Joseph Bourgeois and Dorilla Pelerin, sisters Marguerite and Cecile Bourgeois, brothers Jules, Robert, Leo, Joffre, Richard, Bernard, Jacques, Joseph, Gaston, Henri and Levi Bourgeois, brother-in-law Bill Veness, sisters-in-law Liliane, Carmeline, Laurette and Yvonne Bourgeois, Marcella Roberts, and his sons-in-law: Roland Mousseau and Mel Gauthier.
