On November 24, 2011 Chris Lobb passed away at the age of 93. Chris is survived by her loving husband Everett (Dick) of 64 years, her children Peter, Richard (Liz), Douglas (Marge) and Karen (Brian), her grandchildren Steven (Josie), Kim, Amy, Landon, MacKenzie, Kyle, Martyn, Mitchell, Brett and Danielle and great-grandchildren Elliana and Tristan; sisters-in-law Helen Holland and Berglet Sivertson and numerous friends, nieces and nephews. Chris is predeceased by her seven brothers and two sisters. Chris served in the Royal Canadian Air Force, Women’s Division in St. Thomas, Ontario during the war years as a nurse for an Eye, Ear Nose and Throat Specialist. Our sincere thanks to the staff of the Columbia room, Kipnes Centre for Veterans and to Dr. Nam Thuat and his staff of St. Michaels Health Group for their kind and compassionate care. As per Chris’s wishes a private family celebration of her life will take place at a later date in Inwood, Manitoba.
