It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Edouard Pierre Feguenne on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the age of 89. Victor was born in Edmonton on Nov. 2, 1921 and lived here for most of his life. He attended school at Mackay Avenue & Victoria High School. After graduating he worked as a salesman & manager for a paint company and later bought the McKernan Hardware Store which he & Mom ran together for many years. He furthered his education to become an accountant & went on to work as an internal auditor with the Government of Alberta. He & Mom took many interesting trips all over North America during their life together. After retirement he joined a Woodcarvers Club & spent many happy hours creating his beautiful ducks. He was also an avid ham radio operator for many years. All his life Dad enjoyed working with his hands. He took on many projects and would fix or build almost anything for anyone. No task was too big or too small for him. Victor is survived by his three children, Marilyn Crux and her husband Norman Crux of Edmonton, Leigh Nakoneczny and her husband Michael of Edmonton, and his son Kim Victor Feguenne of Delta, B.C. He also leaves four grandchildren: Erin Crux & her husband Todd Hughes and their two children Nicole Crux & Connor Hughes, Shanna Lesyk, her husband Russ and their children Dustin and Jordan, Tara Weaver, her husband Brad and their children Marschal & Leiam, Shawn Feguenne and his wife Shari and son Emerson, sisters Claire Kirkland and Marquerite Childs of Edmonton and several nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife Maude Bernice , his parents Pierre Henri and Marquerite Elisabet Feguenne, his sister Audrey Milligan. A celebration of his life will be held at Foster & Mcgarvey Funeral Home at 10011 – 114 St., Edmonton, Alberta on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
