It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Stewart announces his sudden passing on Tuesday May 17, 2011, at the age of 84 years.

Robert Edward Stewart was born on a farm near Hodgeville, Saskatchewan. He lived and worked on the the family farm, with his brother Allan, as well as a large extended family. Deciding to become a banker, he worked in Quesnel, Winnipeg, and Regina. He was a champion curler, and loved automobiles, especially Studebakers. In 1959, he married Laurene Nickerson in Regina. In 1963 the bank transferred him to Los Angeles, and after a few years he went back to college at the age of 45 to become a dental technician. In 1974, the family moved to Lethbridge where he started his lab, Bridge City Dental Services. In 1992, he and Laurene retired and moved to St. Albert to be closer to their grandchildren, Mackenzie, Carling, and Luke.

Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years Laurene, his son Scott, three grandchildren and a loving extended family.
