Jacob Tiemersma

of Edmonton

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing Jacob Tiemersma of Edmonton on October 9, 2023, at the age of 96 years following a lengthy battle with dementia.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Catharina Tiemersma of 65 years, as well as many relatives in Edmonton and Holland.

Jacob met his wife Rina in February in 1957 and were married by October of 1957. Jacob was born in September of 1927 to parents Age and Durkje. He immigrated in 1952 and ended up in Truro. December 1965 found his way to Edmonton where he chose to stay. He worked on the grounds of U of A for 30 years.
