The family of Maurice Arthur Pelletier of St. Albert is saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the age of 81 years.

Left to mourn his memory are, his son Leonard (Lori); his ex-wife Lucille; six grandchildren: Lacy, Lindsey, Lexie, Shaylene, Mya, and Loen; his brother Roger (Mariette); his sister Annette; daughter-in-law Anita; along with his special friend Marlene; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends, whom will all miss him dearly.

Maurice was predeceased by his daughter Cheryl; his son Ricky; parents, Arthur and Simone; his sisters, Marie and Theresa; and brother Lucien.

Since his retirement, when the weather would get cooler, Maurice would pack up his motorhome and head south to Arizona with his dog Mikey for the winter months. For the next 6 months, Maurice would call Lake Havasu home, where he would enjoy boating and taking leisurely walks exploring old, abandoned mines.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Kavitha Chandrasenan and the staff of 9Y at Edmonton General Hospital for the care and compassion that was given to Maurice.
