In Loving Memory of

Edward Jongsma

On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Edward Harold Jongsma, husband, father, son, and brother, passed away at the age of 66 years.

Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife Evelyn of 41 years; his children, Adam (Stephanie), Alissa (Bryan) and Jason (Lynn); his eight grandchildren: Ava, Jackson, Paige, Lincoln, Knox, Fynn, Jettlyn, and Brooklyn; by his sisters, Hilda (Harry) Broer, Julia (Rob) Versteeg, and Rosa; his sister-in-laws Hilda (John) Zylstra and Lisa (John) Snyder; his father-in-law Jelte Tolsma; and will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ed was predeceased by his father and mother, Adam & Minke Jongsma, as well as his mother-in-law, Nellie Tolsma.

A Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, March 1, from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home 10011 114 Street NW.

A Celebration of Ed's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at West End CRC 10015 - 149 Street, Edmonton.

A private burial will take place prior to the Celebration of Life at Westlawn Memorial.

Memorial donations in memory of Ed can be made to Pilgrims Hospice Society.
