On January 6, 2023, Keith Gordon Macdonald of Edmonton passed away at the age of 88 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years Dorothy; sons Sandy (Patti) of Chestermere and Bruce of Edmonton; daughters Gail (Kevin) Shaigec of Edmonton and Janice (Dave) Weimer of Nanaimo, BC; grandchildren, Alex (Olivia) Macdonald of Australia, Laura (Curtis) Luu and Amy Shaigec of Edmonton; great-grandchildren Hudson and Logan Luu and Maclan Macdonald; brother Ross (Barbara) Macdonald of Markdale ON; sisters Ruth Steinfatt of Sidney, BC and Joyce (Glenn) Passifiume of Buckhorn, ON; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Keith was born in Brussels, ON. He started a 40 year career with Canadian National Railways in 1951 and moved to Edmonton in 1973 where he retired as Manager Labour Relations.

He was an avid reader and loyal Blue Jays fan. He was thrilled to spend time with all of his great- grandchildren in the last few months.

Keith was an affiliated Past Master at Balmoral Lodge #185 AF&AM, Member Al Shamal Oriental Band, Past Potentate Al Shamal Shriners (2000) and Past Director Edmonton Court #190 Royal Order of Jesters (2019).

A Celebration of Keith's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton.
