On December 5, 2022, Evert Emmelkamp of Edmonton went to be with his Lord and Saviour at the age of 93 years.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Emmelkamp (nee; Paschke); children, Ernie (Evelyn) Emmelkamp, Theo (Kim) Emmelkamp, and Carol (Frank) Versluys; grandchildren, Laura (Ben) McDonald, Julia (Mike) Taekema, Michael (Meagan) Emmelkamp. Kevin (Hannah Vermeer) Emmelkamp, Nicole (David) Price, Sylvia Emmelkamp, Raymond (Danica) Emmelkamp, Lucas Versluys, and Janna Versluys; and great grandchildren; Sam, Kinsley, Liam, Ethan, Logan, Emma, and James; and two sisters, Els Sieswerda, and Theresa Sieswerda.

Evert was predeceased by his first wife, Freda Emmelkamp (nee; de Haan).

The family wishes to give a special thanks to the staff at South Terrace for the wonderful and compassionate care of Evert in his final months.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 1:00PM, in Inglewood Christian Reformed Church, 12330 113 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB.
