Lionel passed away in Edmonton at the age of 68 years. Lionel was well known by his neighbors as a friendly hard-working man who never complained.

He is remembered by his surviving siblings; Richard (Gloria), Paulette (Terry), Denis (Sharon), Carmen (Carmen), Lorraine (Fred), Dianne (Pat), Elaine (Ken), Philip (Darlene), Jacqueline, Maurice, Bernie (Sarah); numerous nieces and nephews.
