It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernadine "Bernie" Sherrington. Bernie passed away on June 29, 2022, after a long illness.

Born in Calgary, Bernie lived in small Alberta towns until the age of 31 when she moved to Edmonton. Bernie ultimately settled in Sherwood Park where she spent the remainder of her life.

Bernie was known for her ability to make others laugh and her love of being a grandmother to her five grandchildren. Bernie was active in Daughters of the Nile.

Bernie's life is celebrated by her children, Doug and Cathy, their spouses, Sara and Brad, along with her five grandchildren, Zach, Cass, Sarah, Sam and India, her sister Valerie, and her "brother George", as well as the many families and friends whose life she touched over the years. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Given the strain of the last many months, a private memorial will be held.

In lieu of floral tributes, donations may be made to The Shriner's Hospital for Children - Canada or to the charity of one's choice.
