It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Grace L. Johnston, RN, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Grace will be laid to rest with her late husband, Gordon, and will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by their four children, Lloyd (Ordella), Garth (Jocelyn), Beverly (Peter), Merna (Michael); grandchildren, Brad (Kelsey), Angela (Fredrik), Jenn (Nick), Tyler (Rebecca), Jim (Sam) and Karen (Kelly); five great grandchildren; brother, Norman (Betty); sister-in-law, Margaret; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Grace was predeceased by her loving husband, Gordon; son, Bruce; one grandchild (Kevin); parents, Fred and Hilma; brothers, Roy, Eddie, Verne, Vick; and sisters, Gladys and Violet.

Her zest for life and volunteerism was infectious. Grace was very active in the community with Southeast Edmonton Seniors Association (SEESA), Ladies Auxiliary to the Shrine, Daughters of the Nile, RCMP Veterans Association, Telus Ambassadors and St. Augustine's Anglican Church, to name a few.

A Celebration of Life will take place at St. Augustine's Anglican Church, 6110 Fulton Road NW, Edmonton on Saturday, March 19 at 2:00 pm. As per the Church "Masks are required".

Due to the current covid conditions the family and friends are invited to gather for a time of reflection and internment at Evergreen on Saturday June 4, 2022. Further details to come.
