Priscilla Lorraine Hébert

In Loving Memory of

Priscilla Lorraine Hébert

of Edmonton

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt & Friend, Priscilla Hébert, who passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on January 18, 2022 at the age of 72 after a lengthy, brave and hard-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease.

She will be lovingly remembered by her former spouse of 44-years and father of her children, Terry Ryley; her three children: Neil Ryley (Tracey), Shawna Ryley (Darren), Heather Luhtala (Tim); her 9 grandchildren: Paul & Jasmine; Taylor, Sheldon, Briannagh & Hunter; Devon, Corey & Reagan. She will also be dearly missed by her brothers Danny, Clement & Marcel.

Priscilla was pre-deceased by her father, Baptiste (1953); her mother, Lucienne (2021); her brother, Lenard (2011); and her sisters, Louise (2018) and Paulette (2018).

She will also be dearly missed by her sisters-in-law and her closest friends.

Priscilla was born in Edmonton, Alberta, on March 25, 1949, the fifth of seven children. At age 17, in 1966, Priscilla married Terry and had three children. Priscilla stayed at home to care for her family always keeping busy by baking, gardening, doing crafts & puzzles, painting, reading, exercising, doing up photo albums of her many pictures and simply being the best mom. Priscilla was an avid volunteer, badminton player and anywhere she could walk or bike to instead of driving, she would!

Priscilla will always be remembered for her easy-going and positive nature, her endless energy line-dancing the night away with friends, her love of music and her dedication to being a "health-nut". Priscilla welcomed all friends and family into her home and was always the best hostess. She will be remembered for her kindness and for her most beautiful smile. Her grandchildren will always know her for being the "best grandma in the world" as she was considered the "fun grandma".

A Celebration of Priscilla's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street NW, Edmonton. Foster & McGarvey is exclusively participating in the Restriction Exemption Program. Government issued photo ID and proof of vaccination via QR code or a negative COVID test in the last 72 hours is required upon entry.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Venta Care Centre for their dedicated and tireless care of her during her difficult battle. A big thank you to her nurse, Susan, as words cannot express how Susan's genuine compassion and care carried us through the final moments.

Memorial donations can be made in Priscilla's name to the Stollery Children's Hospital.
