It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our mother, sister, grandmother, aunt & cherished friend, Susan Stepenko. After a lengthy and astonishing battle with cancer she passed away peacefully in her home with her family around her, at the age of 70 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kimberly Stepenko (Brad) and Amanda Zayonce (Michael); grandchildren, Avery, Kieran, Spencer & Jack; siblings, Evelyn Presisniuk (Morris), Joan Bryks, Judy Wolodko (Ben), Joyce Elgert (Herb), Edie MacGillivray (Neil), Gerald Mandick (Teresa), Maria Poppke (Michael); sister in law, Shirley Gingras; as well as many nieces & nephews who loved her dearly. She will also be sorely missed by her countless friends, former coworkers and fellow members of Sherwood Park Alliance Church.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Barry Stepenko; parents, Joseph & Emily Mandick and her niece, Lesley MacGillivray.

Susan was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She loved to travel and stay active in all seasons. She loved skating, downhill skiing, boating & water skiing. She was a faithful friend to many and the center of her family. She always helped others in any way she could at any time they needed. She was an active member of the widows group at her church in recent years. Her passion was for people. She was generous and kind and she loved to gather together often with those she loved.

A private Memorial Service was held on October 5, 2021.

Memorial donations may be made in Susan's name to Green Bay Bible Camp which she adored, 1449 Green Bay road, West Kelowna, BC, V4T 2B9.
