It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Pauline Wellsman, July 17, 2018. She passed away peacefully at her home in Edmonton, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was 93.

Pauline was born, Pauline Olga Reardon in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. She married Russell Gardner who served in the RCAF and the couple settled in Edmonton shortly after World War II. They had four children, Thomas, Richard, Patricia and James.

Pauline is pre-deceased by her first husband, Russell Gardner, second husband, John (Jack) Wellsman, brother, James D. Reardon (Marion) of Yarmouth, N.S., and her grandson, Daniel Gardner (Ana) of Edmonton.

Following the death of her first husband, Russell, Pauline married Jack Wellsman of Edmonton who has two sons, John and Peter.

Pauline was a loving mother and wife, and a devoted congregant of Robertson-Westley United Church. She gave her time unselfishly to the betterment of the community and her church, and is remembered dearly by many.

Pauline is survived by her children Thomas, New Westminster, BC, Richard (Joanne), Calgary, Patricia, Edmonton, and James, Victoria, BC. Stepsons, John (Rose), Edmonton, and Peter (Chris), St. Albert.

A special mention to Tim Butler (Enid), St. Albert, who was welcomed into her family as a son, as he visited her often and took very good care of Pauline over the years.

She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Tara, Jayme, Nathan, Taryn, Kathryn and Laura, and by her great-grandchildren, Bailey, Ethan, William, Kate, Ben, Michael, and Olivia.

A Memorial Service for Pauline will be held privately by family at Robertson-Westley United Church in Edmonton.
