Milton Miller, 88, of Edmonton, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2018 at the Misericordia Hospital.

Milton was predeceased by his wife Myrtle; half-sisters, Pearl Poetz and Miriam Latoski; his parents, John and Emily (Hoffman). He will be forever lovingly remembered by his three daughters, Joanne (Reid) Perkins, Sharon (Kevin) McKinnon and Cathy (Gerd) Gretzinger; six grandchildren, Melissa, Rory, Courtney, Derek, Emily and Mia; three great-grandchildren; twin sister Lydia Doughty; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Born March 1, 1930, in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Milton was a hard-working husband and father. He was proud to have served as an Edmonton Firefighter and District Chief at many fire stations throughout his career.

Milton loved gardening, working outside and took pride in keeping his home, yard and vehicles in immaculate condition. He was an avid sports participant and fan. Passionately cheering on his favourite teams, the Oilers and the Blue Jays until the very end.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
