It is with a great sense of sadness and loss that the family of Margaret Anne Williams announces her passing on April 7, 2017, after complications from breaking her hip and arm. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 60 years, Cliff; son Trevor (Karen); daughter Tracie; grandchildren, Jenna and Sean; sisters, Isobel Zimmerman and Gerri (Ron) Wilkinson; brothers, Jim (Betty) and Randy (Lynn) Ballance; sister-in-law Jackie Ballance; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Anne Ballance; brother Bill Ballance; and sister Merilyn Ballance.

Margaret was born on April 21, 1934, in the village of Deepdale, MB. She moved to Winnipeg at an early age. While attending an Eskimos vs. Blue Bombers game in Edmonton, she met her husband Cliff. In time she became an avid Eskimo and Oilers Fan. Margaret was passionate about curling and golf and became the president of the Highlands Ladies Golf Club for a term in the 70’s. She was involved in many community and volunteer activities. Margaret loved to travel and spent many memorable trips with her family whom she loved fiercely and was devoted to in all ways. She will be deeply missed.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Church at South Edmonton, 9908-67 Ave, Edmonton.
