It is with deep sadness that the family of Wayne Chesney announces his sudden passing on Friday June 17, 2016 at age 71.

Wayne was born in Cadomin, AB moving with his family at the age of 10 to be raised in Edmonton. In his early adulthood he spent some years employed with IAC before taking a position at Koch Ford Lincoln, where he became Business Manager, eventually rising to partner and Vice President in a successful career that spanned the next 30 years. Wayne retired in 2003, to spend summer months at his beloved Moose Lake home and spending cold winter months in the warmth of San Tan Valley, AZ. Wayne's passions included golf, giant sudoku books, boating, riding the quad with his grandson, fun on the beach, and happy hours with treasured friends.

Wayne leaves to mourn his loving wife, Carol, of 50 years; son, Cameron; grandson, Joss; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Jodi.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 St NW, Edmonton, AB. Cremation has taken place.
