It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Don Smith on Oct 16, 2015.

Throughout his illness Don maintained his positive attitude, his sense of humor, his concern for his loved ones and his love of the Lord.

Don is survived by his loving wife Teri, his precious family Keeley (Ryan) Sam, Jake & Nash; Lahni (Geoff) Shea & Tegan; his sister Vickie (Bob); his mother-in-law Daisy and a large extended family.

Our sincere thanks to our wonderful friends, the Southside Homecare team and the palliative staff at St. Joe’s Hospital.

A Celebration of Don’s Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Dayspring Presbyterian Church, 11445-40 Avenue, Edmonton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Lions Seniors Association or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
