She leaves to mourn her son, Dana (Bernie) Spence of Grande Prairie and daughter, Donna (Paul) Borejko of Edmonton; stepson, Harold (Charlotte) (Candy) Spence of Saskatoon; stepdaughter, Marilyn (Rodney) Walton of Murray Corner, NB; five grandchildren, Alyssia, Candace (Jeremy), Chad, Aaron, Kelly and one great-grandchild, Braden; baby brother, Al Redl (Lynda) of New Westminster, BC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, who lead a life of integrity and faith. She was devoted to her family, including her pet dogs, Buster and Ringo. She lived a life of strength, compassion and determination. Even in diversity and ill health she never complained even though she had every reason to do so. She will be dearly missed by all those who loved her. She was a wise and caring lady.
