...May you rest in peace Dad, I swore I wouldn't be sad when you passed away because I know how much you loved God and knew, because of that, that you were not afraid to go...I am sad though and as strong as I'm trying to be on the outside, my heart is hurting and I miss you so much already...you lead by quiet example, you brought me to God's love and as Sandra said, you were always there to support me in my troubled times and celebrate with me when times were good. I will treasure those final days and the time I got to spend with you and will never forget how, even in your final hours, you still managed to make me laugh with your wonderful sense of humour...I regret that I didn't visit you more often at home but I know you treasured your quiet time and after loading me up with groceries and anything else you could think of, you would send me on my way anyways! I imagine you in heaven, reunited with all those you loved that went before you and one day Dad, I hope to see you again also....until then, I hope you know what a wonderful Dad you were and how much you influenced my life, and the lives of all the people you touched on this earth. Love you Dad, you will live in my heart and memories forever...xoxo
