Dan, Nancy and I want to extend our sympathy. I know that it has been quite a long time since we lived in the area and were able to do things with you, but know that you and Marilyn have left a lasting impression on our hearts. We fondly remember the times we spent either at your home, or in a community event or at Christ Community Church, or even the Sweetheart Dinner each February. Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you. Mike and Nancy VandenBerg

Dan,there are no words to adequately express the sorrow I feel for the loss of your beautiful, loving wife and devoted mother to Shannon & Mark.....Marilyn was a true blessing to all who knew her, always concerned for others, ready to pray for any needs and help out in any way she could whether for family, friends or strangers. She was kind, generous, caring and so much fun. Diane & I had some wonderful times with Marilyn while indulging in our love of food ! We often shared prayer requests, photos and many silly jokes via e mails and Facebook. Oh how she will be missed, Dan, Shannon, Mark and all who loved Marilyn, you are in my thoughts & my prayers. I am overwhelmed with sadness and my heart weeps with you...Marilyn, RIP my sweet friend, safe in the arms of Jesus...much love Carol & Mike xxoxx

How saddened I am to hear of the passing of Marilyn and my expression of condolence extends to Dan and the Klemke family at this sad time. The first time I met Marilyn I remember walking to my car knowing I had just met with a woman of deep faith. Marilyn had a huge heart of compassion; she was joyful and content in the Lord and expressed an exuberant love for her family and friends. In this time of sorrow, be assured of my thoughts and prayers. Carole Pickering World Vision Canada

Your well chosen picture is exactly how I remember Marilyn. I am praying much for your comfort in your great loss. Marilyn and I loved to exchange stories. Shannon, Mark and Dan, yours were here favourite stories I thought. She just loved caring for your lives and really was so proud of you. She loved God with all her heart, and I've been thinking of the Ecclesiastes 7:1-2 legacy she leaves: a very good name. Marilyn deeply cared for our work and solidly had my back in prayer. I will get you some pictures of her touring me through your work, she had such sparkle that day, she looks great in those also. We will see with a hug on Saturday.
