Please accept my condolences on the death of Ken. I have known Ken since our high school days in the early 1950's. At that time he came to live at the Secord farm where I also lived as my father, Don Bevington, was herdsman for their dairy herd. I have always known Ken to be cheerful and companionable despite much hospitalization, physical difficulties and pain. Over the intervening years Ken became a member of our extended family joining in annual gatherings and becoming good friends with my Uncle and Aunt, Bill and Muriel Bevington. I have much appreciation for the friendship and support that he gave over many years to my Aunts,Glen Patterson and Muriel Bevington when they became widows. I have always admired Ken for the forbearance and dignity with which he handled his disability. May his soul rest in peace. Barbara Forbes

My sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Ken. He was a wonderful colleague and friend and always supportive to his fellow teachers and students. It always amazed me at how many of his students returned to the school as adults to tell him how well they were doing and to visit with him. This indicated how well he was respected. Ken also supported me when my husband passed away and this was very much appreciated. I am sorry that I will not be able to pay my respects at his funeral on April 21st. With Sympathy, Sharon Lake
