I'd like to share my condolences on the loss of Lillian. My mother, Peggy Shaw, lived next to her for some time on the 3rd floor at the Riverbend Retirement Residence. Although she and Lillian never became close friends, they knew each other as good neighbours, and Lillian attended a couple of my mother's birthday parties. Lillian was a lovely woman, with a beautiful smile who always had a gentle, kind word to say. My mother died in May at the age of 99, so I share your sadness, and just wanted to send condolences when I saw Lillian's obituary in the paper. Kate Gunn
