To the Mottershead family, it saddens me to know that you mother, sister, aunt and wife has passed. Both Bob and I had the pleasure of her company at many dinners. We were both honoured to be invited into the family home while we were driving staff car and to sit and visit with Mrs. Mottershead on those occasions. I found her to be a comfort to me as a very young military member and spouse as she told me of her early experiences of being a young wife at home on her own when duty called Colonel Mottershead away on exercises. She was a leader to me then and that is how will remember her. Please hold her dear in your heart as Bob and I will.
