Dear Art, Case, Ellen, and Rose: Both your parents had a profound impact on my life and I feel honoured for having known them. I am glad that I was able to tell your mother that yet a few years ago and shall always treasure the memories I have of her. She was always a warm and wonderful lady in every sense of the word. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to all of you, your spouses, and your families.

Dear Art, Casey, Ellen, Rose and family, Our sincere condolences with the loss of your mother and my tante Corrie, who was the favorite and loved sister to my mother Nellie. Despite her high age we understand your present sadness, but on the otter hand consider yourself lucky to have had her with you for so many years, as also expressed during the memorial service last friday. Mariska and me will never forget our visit to Canada in 1987 where we, among other things, went for a trip in the Rocky Mountains with oom Kees (brother to my father Aad) and tante Corrie. We very much enjoyed that, Corrie frying eggs en route and playing Cribbage with Kees before going to sleep. We treasure a lot of good memories to them and to all of you! Dear greetings, Aad en Mariska van Loo

Dear cousins Art, Casey & Helena, Ellen & Ron, Rose & Howard, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, We offer our condolences on the loss of your Mom (-in-law) and Oma! To us she was ??Tante Corrie? or ??Corrie Canada?, sister of our father (-in-law) Zier (who was married to Corrie Verheij). Brother Zier and sister Corrie got along very well in their younger years and later! Tante Corrie wrote in 2011 that she and her brother sometimes, before they went to work, they went very early to the dunes to enjoy nature: the early birds, the smell of the sea, the wind? You mentioned that too, Art! We regularly visited you as family Van Loo-Baak in the Doornstraat (Scheveningen) in the 1950s. We even went on holiday to Stroe with the two families (Corrie & Kees, with Art and Casey and Zier & Corrie, with Zier and Teun) in the summer of 1958. We (Mieke & Zier) met Corrie & Kees several times when they were visiting family here in the Netherlands. We have a very strong memory of Corrie's enthusiasm, spontaneity and warmth. You are saying goodbye to a very special person! We wish you all the best!

Dear Art, Casey, Ellen, and Rose, I want to express my deepest sympathy with the passing of tante Corrie. I spoke to oom Anton today and he told that when he talked to your mother lately, she would mention that she wouldn't mind if the Lord would take her to Him, just like you mentioned in the obituary. I'm sure your mother would want us to rejoice, that is how I remember her, always positive and happy, but I know it's okay to shed a little tear cause she's no longer with you. Best wishes, André Baak

Dear family-members, Our sincere condolences with your deceased mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Corry van Loo-Baak. We remember her not only as the favourite sister of my father, Zier Baak, but also as a warm and joyful aunt. A strong woman too, because she lived nearly as long as her father / my grandfather Zier. We wish you a good funeral and above all good remembrances of a no doubt lovely mother and (great)grandmother. Yours sincerely, Teun Baak and Lenie Bouwman
