Condolences

Faulder William

In Loving Memory of

William Faulder

Dear Liane, Graham and families- I send my heartfelt sympathy to you in your great loss. I am grateful for having Bill as a strong member in our choir, as a doer of so many kindnesses to all and sundry at church, as a role model of energy, imagination and community builder. He bought cream for church coffee, advising the ACW we didnâ??t need to buy - he just bought a big bag and the swing band wouldnâ??t use it all. His life will long be remembered and treasured by so many, He left suddenly, but is headed for glory - Iâ??m sure there is a lot of music to be shared in heavenly realms, complete with beer and dessert.

Like everyone who knew him, we were sad to learn of Bill's passing. From when our sons played hockey in Lynnwood together to our playing golf and bridge at the Edmonton County Club, it has been a pleasure to know Bill. Condolences to all Bill's family, especially to the love of his life, Betty. Jack and Elinor Thubron

Bill and Betty have been great friends and we miss them very much. Bill welcomed me to the Country Club in 1994 as a new member. We shared many memories with them in Arizona. They were always so kind and so interested in what was going on in your family. Eileen and I are so pleased and proud to have had the Faulder's in our lives. Our sympathies to Betty, Liane and Graham on the loss of a great man.

Dear Liane, I am so sory to read about the passing of your Father. I know how difficult it is to lose one's Dad. My Mom has a lot of friends that live in Canterbury and who likely knew your Dad and I am sure they are all mourning his loss as well. I am sending warm thoughts and prayers to you and your family. My Mom, MaryJane, has been living iin Chartwell for almost 2 years. She still remembers the great time we had with you on tthe Amsterdam trip. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know.

Ken and I are shocked, saddened and frankly just stunned to learn of Bill's passing! We have know Bill and Betty for many. many years through the construction industry as well as being next door neighbors for at least thirty years. As well as industry conventions everywhere, we enjoyed many vacations in Maui with Betty and Bill, Marg and Cliff Williams and Vera and Bob Clegg. So much fun and so many good times and such good and lasting friendships! As neighbors Betty and Bills residence was attached to ours and for 30 years plus we could not have asked for better friends or neighbors. We enjoyed so many barbecues, happy hours on each others decks, chatter and laughter over the back fence and we shared losses, triumphs, weddings and births of grandchildren. Bills love for music lead to him sourcing a beautiful used jazz alto saxophone for our youngest granddaughter when she expressed an interest in playing this instrument in her high school band. His hope was that as a young person she would continue to play because not enough young people are coming to music. He was happy to hear that she plays in two high school and two university bands but he never got a chance to attend one of her concerts. But for helping her to realize her dream, we and Emily thank him from the bottom of our hearts for his help and his generosity! She just messaged me saying, that if it wasn't for Mr. Faulder, she wouldn't be getting her opportunities. True! Always the consummate gentleman, Bill we have been so blessed to have you as a part of our lives and we shall never forget you. We are better people to have known you! Our most sincere condolences to Betty, Liane and Graham and their families. Rest in Peace Bill, Love Fran and Ken Marsden.
