Apologies for the tardiness of this note. Uncharacteristically, I did and do not have words to express our feelings. We offer our VERY sincere condolences for your loss and borrow from Wordsworth - ??thy memory be as a dwelling-place for all sweet sounds and harmonies? (Tintern Abbey). Cherish the memories of Gay and your years together; they are yours forever. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her - a vibrant, intelligent, friendly and inclusive individual.

Gay was a woman with a beautiful smile and a sparkle in her eyes. Even during her terminal illness, she showed admirable strength and courage as if she was the healthiest person in the room. She never gave up! A lovely lady, with a sharp mind, quick wit. Always interested in others. Gay was such a delightful person to have shared times with; she was taken from all of us far too soon. Dear Ralph, It is with sad and heavy hearts that we send to you and family our sincere condolences. Having chatted with you and Gay on several occasions, while out for a neighbourhood walk, it was apparent the positive spirits maintained by both of you. As family from my first marriage, I always appreciated how you both reached out over the years in many different ways. Gay made time for me when we moved to Edmonton, as she has given exceptional time and energy to so many. Our hearts go out to you, words alone cannot express our sympathies. With Love...David and Sandra Cross (Young), Alexandra Young and Owen Young

Ralph Ewa and I were sad to learn that Gay long battle with cancer has come to and end. We last talked to her at the birthday party you arranged in Scottsdale a couple years ago. It was a good party - lots of old friends. We were very impressed with the way Gay was handling her fight with cancer. As both Ewa and I have had our own (but more manageable) issues with cancer, we could relate to what Gay was going through. Her positive attitude was amazing! We also know how difficult these times are for you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We look forward to seeing you at the the celebration of Gay??s life this fall. John and Ewa
