Condolences

McKeen Edith Elizabeth

In Loving Memory of

Edith Elizabeth McKeen

(Maiden: Lee)
of Edmonton

Edith was a fantastic lady! She always told it how it is and was incredibly generous with her volunteer time at the North Edmonton Seniors Association. We missed her greatly when she was no longer able to visit us. She already has, and will forever be missed and remembered. Love, The Staff, Volunteers and Members at the North Edmonton Seniors Association.
posted by Amber Ritco-Schneider : I have worked at the North Edmonton Seniors Association for 13 years. Edith volunteered in many capacities, but I worked with her the most as the scheduler of ours Nevada's Volunteers. Edith also joined me on many summer tours and outings as we explored Alberta. : Jun 24, 2020

Dear Scott , Rod and family , Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Mother and Grandmother , Edith. She had a long life filled with many wonderful memories and is at peace now. I taught with Edith at McLeod school and enjoyed her sense of humour and friendship. There were many Fridays after school when Edith, Chip and I used to hit the links for a nine-hole round of golf. Those were very enjoyable times. With Sympathy , H-R

My sympathies to Edith's family. Edith and I taught together many years ago. I was a beginning teacher and Edith was so friendly and helpful to me. I always remember her kindness and willingness to share her ideas. I I still have several recipes with her name on them-slushes, lemon loaf and rhubarb custard pie. A wonderful friend! Thinking of her and you at this sad time
