Condolences

In Loving Memory of

June Hill

of St. Albert

We did not know your mother well but we will never forget her as she was the officiant for our marriage in 1986. We eloped just before leaving for a trip to Europe and I chose her because she was the only woman on the list of marriage commissioners. We brought my sister and brother-in-law as witnesses, she performed the ceremony in her real estate office on 101st street. Your mother was very warm and sincere, when we all started crying during the vows she stopped the ceremony for a moment and said "I love emotion" which was so lovely and became a catchphrase for the 4 of us from then on. Our sincere condolences for your loss.

I met June through my next door neighbor and we became friends. We lived in the same neighborhood as well I enjoyed many chats with June and I will always remember her as a very nice lady. I enjoyed many great visits to her beautiful home.

I knew June as my dear Uncle Don's girlfriend. She attended many family functions at our home and she always added a lot of fun to each event. I admire her greatly for the kind and thoughtful person she was and for all that she achieved despite setbacks which would have defeated weaker women. She will be missed by a great many people.
