Dear family, this day My thoughts are with you. I am thinking of the beautifull time i spent with auntie visiting her in Canada. My attick is full of the letters auntie send me in the years. Waking up at your birthday..know ing she would be the first to call made those days extra special. I wish you all the strenght you need. And many lovely memories for the days you Will miss her the most.

The Lord saw her getting tired and knew it was time to call her home. Griet was a dear friend and neibough, it was our collie Bailey who introduced us,they became the best of friends, if we couldn't find him we knew where to go , he would lay out by her in the yard as she gardened (he was always gentle around her plants) or he would be in her kitchen sitting nicly for a beggen strip , I'd go to fetch him home and end up spending a few hours visiting, I remember the anis seed cake or Black Forest she always had on her birthday. We would talk of Henry ,plants , flowers and of times back in Holland. These are my memories and I cherrish them all , I will miss her dearly , I feel blessed that Roy entrusted me with the care of her Blue Bike it has a special place in Bailey's garden where I can see it every day .
