We are so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. This is truly a tragic loss. I have pictures of Richard playing Santa with my kids on his knee when we were living in Edmonton in 2009. He was always there favorite Santa. Our prayers are with Richard and his family.

My condolences to all in the family for your loss. I feel fortunate that Richard and I were able to reconnect at the last family reunion. (Another reason to attend regularly). My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.

My sympathies go out to the Haley Family. I met Richard at Wirtanen Electric Training Foundation and had nothing but friendly and business friendly meetings. He was approachable and honest with me. God Bless...Dwight and Gloria

I am devastated at the news. We worked together for many years doing research at the U of A where amongst other things he became a specialist in high speed photography of explosions. He also taught many second year students and spent many hours out of class, on a voluntary basis, helping them with their academic problems. He was truly a good man and I count myself very fortunate to have spent so much time with him.
