Absent from the body, at home with the Lord:



Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Wood; sons, Ian, Alan (Rosanne), Donald (Kerri) and Murray (Leanne); daughters, Helen (Jeff) and Elizabeth (Kevin). She will always be lovingly remembered by 10 grandchildren, Victoria, Julia, Meagan, Jillian, Amy, Braden, Reid, Hannah, Cailyn and Brea.

Margaret was an RN qualified midwife who also studied Public Health, working in the hospital and public health in Uranium City, Saskatchewan. She moved to Lac La Ronge in 1982.

Until Margaret retired, she was Director of Saskatchewan Provincial Public Health Nurses for Northern Saskatchewan, and travelled by bush plane to visit the nurses working in the northern clinics.

Many thanks to the Emergency, ICU Ward and 4G3 at the University Hospital.

A Memorial Service will take place at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 St., Edmonton on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
