Obituary
It is with broken and saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Muriel Troock in the early morning hours of Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the age of 88 years. Muriel will be forever loved and remembered by Douglas, her husband of 68 years; four children, Doug Troock (Dianne Pearce), Lorna (Jeff) Battershill, Elaine (Bernie) Moore, and Ken Troock (Scott Steacy); eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Also to mourn her loss are sisters-in-law, Joyce Eckel and Noreen Troock; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Muriel was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Wendy Troock; son-in-law, Gary Stretch; sister, Kathleen; and brothers, Leonard and Donald. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at McConnell North, McConnell West and the Lynnwood BASU unit for the compassion and support provided to Muriel and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Muriel�s memory to the Al Shamal Transportation Fund, The Masonic Higher Education Bursary Fund, or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
