Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Fern announces her passing on May 20, 2016 at the age of 87.
Fern was born on April 29, 1929 in Edmonton.
She will be forever in the hearts of her three sons, Harvey (Val) Hicks, Brian Hicks and James (Dawn) Coull; three daughters, Sharon (Larry) Nachtegaele, Maureen (Louise) Hicks and Katherine Ferland; eight grandchildren, Stephen (Ashley), Meagan (Dallas), Brenda, Matthew (Marta), Christopher, Adam, Eve (Tory) and Patrick; great-granddaughters, Aislynn, Abby and Maya; great-grandsons, Samuel, Logan and Ethan; beloved sister and best friend, Ruby (Desmond) Harte; brother George (Myrtle); numerous relatives and friends.
Fern was predeceased by her grandson, Jeremy Ferland and siblings David, Alex, Norman, Robert �Ted� and Jessie.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at St. Luke�s Anglican Church, 8424 � 95 Avenue, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one�s choice.
