Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces that on April 26, 2016, Agnes MacCallum of Edmonton passed away at the age of 96 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Bruce, Brian and Blair; 8 grandchildren, Shawn, Shelley, Bradley, Christopher, Nathan, Adrian, Daniel and Graham; 9 great-grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Danny; two sisters, Jean and Roberta; and a brother, David.
Agnes was born in Chatham, NB on March 8, 1920 to John and Edith McLean. She met and married Danny on June 8, 1950. Danny was in the Air Force stationed throughout Canada in their early years and consequently their three sons were born across Canada in Toronto, ON, Kamloops, BC and Goose Bay, NL, before settling in Edmonton, AB in 1961.
With a nursing degree she earned early in life, she followed the profession part-time while raising her sons and full-time in later years until she retired.
Viewing will take place from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the same location.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to St. Andrew�s Presbyterian Church, Edmonton, Alberta.
